Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Zakopane

arrival via Wroclaw and Krakow, we reach the famous winter sports resort Zakopane in the High Tatras. In our great mountain hotel we are warmly welcomed with a welcome drink.

Day 2: Zakopane

Today we explore our vacation spot Zakopane. The enchanting small town at the foot of the majestic Tatras is characterized by its unique wooden architecture and attracts visitors from all over the world with its charm. The cogwheel train takes us to the local mountain Gubalowka (1,126 m), where we are rewarded with a fantastic view of the place and the magnificent mountains. In the afternoon we visit the Chocholow. While strolling through the quiet streets, we let ourselves be impressed by the traditional wooden construction. In Debno the famous wooden church (UNESCO World Heritage) fascinates with wonderful wall and ceiling paintings. Return with a stop at a shepherd’s hut with tasting of the famous sheep cheese.

Day 3:  Panoramic tour of the High Tatras

Today is all about the breathtaking scenery of the High Tatras. On our panoramic tour through the Tatra National Park we visit the towns of Tatranska Lomnica, Stary Smokovec and Strebske Pleso. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique idyll of this dream landscape.

Day 4 Pieniny National Park with raft trip

We drive to the Pieniny National Park to the Dunajec Canyon. You will get an incomparable impression of the harsh, beautiful landscape when you step into the raft with a gorale. The view from the water onto the steep cliffs is unique. The return journey leads past the Red Monastery, a former Carthusian monastery.

Day 5 Spisz Land

The Spisz Land, a region built by German settlers in the Middle Ages, is considered a treasure trove of Gothic art. We get to know the impressive historical old towns of Kezmarok and Levoca, the former center of power, the Spisz Castle and the Gothic St. Jacob’s Church with the highest Gothic wooden altar in the world.

Day 6: Check out in the hotel and travel back to home.
