At the behest of King Przemysł II, the construction of the Royal Castle began in the thirteenth century, which was destroyed and rebuilt many times over the centuries. It owes its present form to the renovation completed in 2013. The building is reminiscent of the Romanesque style, which you will notice, for example, thanks to the thick walls and small window openings. Currently, the interior houses the seat of the National Museum. In the area, pay attention to the remains of the city walls, which in their heyday were approx. 1700 m long and 7 m high.

When it’s time for dinner, choose sandwiches, liquids, shags or gray dumplings.
