TREASURES OF SOUTH POLAND

Tour schedule:

Day 1: Wroclaw.

In the afternoon you reach Wroclaw and see the beauties of the Odra Rivier metropolis on a city tour. Wroclaw City Hall with its astronomical clock is one of the city’s landmarks. The Cathedral Island is considered to be the birthplace of Wroclaw and on the Sand Island you will see St. Mary on the Sand, one of the oldest Gothic churches in Poland.

Day 2: Czestochowa – Royal Cracow

after breakfast you drive to Czestochowa. Here you will get to know the deep Polish religiosity on a guided tour in the Pauline monastery. The Marian pilgrimage site is known for the Black Madonna, to which numerous miracles are attributed. In the evening you will reach Cracow on the upper reaches of the Wisla river.

Day 3: Royal Cracow & Kazimierz Judic Quarter

Today you explore the former royal city of Cracow, one of the most beautiful cities in Eastern Europe, all day with a guide. The highlights of the city tour are the Wawel Heights with the residential palace and coronation church of the Polish kings. The St. Mary Kirche, a Roman Catholic basilica, with its Cracow Great Altar, the largest altar of its kind in Europe, is one of the city’s landmarks and the Cloth Hall on the main market is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the afternoon you will visit the nostalgic Jewish quarter of Kazimierz.

Day 4: High Tatras excursion with Zakopane

On a day trip to the mountains of the High Tatras, the highest part of the Carpathian Mountains, which is under special protection as a national park, you will see Zakopane, the largest winter sports center in the country, on a guided tour. The highest town in Poland is also called the “the winter capital of Poland”. The characteristic wooden architecture of the houses is unique. In the village Chocholow you can see a living building tradition: dozens of inhabited log houses with shingle roofs.
